(Calendula officinalis) – Calendula is a marigold flower renowned for its antifungal, anti‑inflammatory, and antibacterial properties. Calendula oil may help wounds heal faster and is traditionally used to soothe eczema and relieve diaper rash. Its gentle, nourishing nature makes it suitable for sensitive skin.

INGREDIENTS: Calendula flower (Calendula officinalis), Sweet Almond Oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis).

WEIGHT: 50ML

Wound‑healing and dermatitis relief: Calendula oil’s antifungal, antibacterial, and anti‑inflammatory properties may help wounds heal faster and make it useful for treating dermatitis, such as diaper rash.

Eczema and psoriasis support: Some studies note that calendula oil can soothe eczema and that its anti‑inflammatory compounds may be beneficial for psoriasis.

Antioxidant protection: A 2023 review reports that calendula’s flavonoids and coumarins may help protect the skin from oxidative damage, potentially improving overall skin appearance.

TO USE: Apply a small amount to clean skin and gently massage until absorbed. It’s well-suited for dry or irritated patches, cuticles, and areas prone to minor scrapes. You can mix a few drops into your favorite moisturizer or add it to DIY balms and lip treatments.

Precautions and disclaimer

  • Allergies and sensitivities: Calendula is a member of the Asteraceae (daisy) family, so avoid it if you’re allergic to ragweed, chrysanthemums, marigolds, or daisies.

  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Calendula should not be used if you are pregnant or nursing because there isn’t enough safety data.

  • Patch test: Perform a patch test before wider use. The American Academy of Dermatology recommends applying a quarter‑size amount of a new skin‑care product twice daily to the same spot for 7–10 days before using it on larger areas.

  • Not a substitute for medical care: Calendula is generally safe for food use but hasn’t been proven to cure medical conditions. Talk with your health‑care provider before using calendula oil to treat skin conditions, especially if you’re taking medications or have health concerns.

  • Regulatory note: Dietary supplements and herbal oils are not regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to the same degree as drugs, so quality and potency may vary.

NOTE: This oil is for cosmetic use only. Not intended to treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
